More than 30 years ago, the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) began analyzing the effectiveness of education policies and standards and providing evidence-based knowledge to improve education practice. Originally headquartered at Rutgers University, CPRE moved to its current headquarters at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education in 1995.
