Alan J. Daly, Ph.D is a Professor and the Director of Educational Leadership Doctoral Programs, UCSD. Alan’s research and teaching are influenced by his 16 years of public school experience in a variety of instructional and leadership roles.
Ryan Fink
Ryan Fink has been a researcher at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) since February 2011. At CPRE he has conducted research on evidence use in state education agencies, policy design and implementation of the Common Core, and early childhood education. He is a former classroom teacher, having taught fourth grade in both Longmont, Colorado, and Evanston, Illinois. Fink earned his Ed.D.
James Spillane
James Spillane's work explores the policy implementation process at the state, school district, school and classroom levels. He has worked to develop a cognitive perspective on the implementation process, exploring how local policymakers and practitioners come to understand state and national reforms. Spillane is also interested in organizational leadership and change.
